First of all, we missed the first period due to the full parking lot across from the arena, leading to a 45-minute wait for a spot. Not even 5 minutes into the second period, a very drunk group of young men behind us started shouting obscenities and making crude body gestures towards anyone wearing ranger clothing. A mother and her son seated next to us left and did not return. Security had to remove one particularly drunk and obnoxious young man behind us. Later, we missed the first five minutes of the third period as my son wanted ice cream, and only one person was working at the ice cream stand. The end of the second period saw the previously removed young man return, just as loud and obnoxious as before. With about 6 minutes left, the fans behind us began throwing food at others, leading us to fear for our family's safety. As we left, my daughter was even spat on. Is this really a family event?
